The federal government does not regulate body piercing and only a few states have laws requiring technicians to be licensed and follow health and safety standards. So while your hairdresser may need a license to cut your hair, the person inserting a metal ring through your nipple may not. (more…)
Another user on the message boards that really made an impression was Geezer. He gave us the idea to do a 21 DC. We would do Tae-Bo for 21 days straight. The philosophy was that it would become a habit. He talked about Gumption Traps, which is when we sabotage ourselves with our negative thinking. We talked about how some of us lost inches quickly and how a lot of us were Tae-Bo Tortoises. (more…)
My journey with Tae-Bo began out of desperation. I lost weight after my third child by using a liquid diet. I drank two shakes a day and ate one meal.
I walked a couple miles a day and felt stronger, but I knew winter was coming and I wouldn’t be able to drag my kids out in the cold weather. (more…)
